About the Blog

Hello and welcome to the Cyber Minimalist blog! I hope you are having a great day wherever you are. This blog will cover a wide range of topics such as: routers, Linux, IoT devices, virtual credit cards, VPNs, cryptocurrency, INFOSEC, digital forensics and more.

Covering these topics is by no means new, however I aim to make this blog unique by covering them in such a way that brings privacy concerns to the forefront of the discussion. It also aims to bring a bit of humanity back to the digital age by advocating that whatever technology you use, it should work for you and not the other way around. I will endeavour to keep the writing and appearance of the blog simple and concise.

“As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.”
― Henry David Thoreau

About Myself

I am coming towards the end of my time at University studying ‘Cyber Security and Networks’ and have certifications in Linux, Microsoft, Cisco and Cyber Essentials.

Massive podcast fan (some favourites are: Twenty Thousand Hertz, The Privacy, Security & OSINT Show and The Minimalists). House, techno and disco lover. Currently trying to get my DJ equipment to work with Linux. I’m interested in sustainability and environmental issues like food waste.

With all that said, I hope this blog can add value to someone out there. Any feedback or general discussion is more than welcome. Posts should be expected monthly… Probably.

Say Hello… 🙂
